Have you booked your wedding in Scotland and looking for a photographer? BK Photography would love to capture the story of your special day.
Working as a professional wedding photographer in Scotland has its good points. First of all, it’s the people. Scottish people know how to have a fun time. Although the weather might not be as good as it could be, the humour of the Scots will certainly brighten your day. Another is the many beautiful places throughout Scotland. I’ve never had the opportunity to visit Banchory. I was thrilled to be invited up there to photograph this wedding for Robyn and Andrew. It was a few years ago when I first met them both at a wedding I photographed at Sloan’s in Glasgow. You can see it HERE. Andrew was on best man duties that day. As a result of that wedding, they asked me to photograph theirs.
The beautiful village of Banchory was the location for the wedding. A small rural town in the highlands of Scotland. It is also known as the gateway to Royal Deeside. The Barn, a local multi-arts centre hosted both the ceremony and reception. Family and friends helped decorate the brightly lit main hall for the meal and evening reception. Ideal settings to enjoy a traditional Scottish wedding. From the traditional tartan outfits to the reception’s cèilidh.
Seems like most of my weddings, the couple had requested to have natural photographs. Most of all they want to see people enjoying themselves at their wedding. Due to this, my candid shots tell a story of the day’s events. As a result, people will often comment on how natural the photographs are. That’s something to be proud of as a wedding photographer in Scotland. If you’re having a wedding in Scotland, please get in touch HERE
