Shooting weddings in Edinburgh
Looking for Edinburgh wedding photographers? You are in the right place. Photographing a wedding in Scotland’s capital city is a photographer’s dream come true. With its stunning architecture nestled in the hills, there are not too many cities that are as attractive. Before the wedding, I was told the bride and groom were really into photography. As a result, they were going to allow two hours for portraits. In other words, we were going to to make some epic photos.
The wedding venues
Venues for the wedding were at Edinburgh Castle and Edinburgh Napier University. The famous castle was the setting for the ceremony. For this reason alone, I was excited. Arriving in style was the bride in a silver Bentley car. Judging by the onlooking tourists, they must have thought it was a royal wedding. As a result, it was such a great spectacle. Therefore it’s something we will never forget. Patiently waiting for his soon to be wife was the groom in his full military suit. Only twenty-five guests were allowed into its tiny chapel. Consequently, we left the castle we walked along the city’s Royal Mile. We found some great locations whilst we strolled about. The newlyweds certainly enjoyed their time having their photographs taken. Of course, the expressions from the onlookers made for terrific photographs.
The photographers
For the reception, we travelled to Napier University. A live band played songs long into the night. Therefore I had plenty of opportunities to capture their moves on the dance floor. These photos are especially fun to shoot. Everyone is relaxed and having a great time, myself included. This is many photographers favourite part of the day. It was truly a great finish to a wonderful wedding.
