Have you booked your wedding in Banchory and looking for a photographer? BK Photography would love to capture the story of your special day.
Working as a professional wedding photographer has its good points. First of all, it’s meeting new people. Another is the chance to visit so many beautiful places throughout Scotland. I’ve never had the opportunity to visit Banchory. I was thrilled to be invited up there to photograph this wedding for Robyn and Andrew. It was a few years ago when I first met them both at a wedding I photographed at Sloan’s in Glasgow. You can see HERE. Andrew was on best man duties that day. As a result of that wedding, they asked me to photograph theirs.
The couple were married in the wonderful village of Banchory, Aberdeenshire. The small rural town is located on the outskirts of Aberdeen. It’s known as the gateway to Royal Deeside. The Barn, a local multi-arts centre hosted both the ceremony and reception. Therefore it’s a great setting for any wedding. From the brightly lit ceremony room to the main hall which was beautifully decorated by the bride’s family and friends.
Seems like most of my weddings, the couple had requested to have natural photographs. Most of all they want to see people enjoying themselves at their wedding. Due to this, my candid shots really tell a story of the day’s events. As a result, people will often comment on how natural the photographs are. That’s something I am especially proud of. Seems like I’m doing something right!
